Winter wedding at the Greenvale Hotel, Cookstown

Majella and Ryan, Greenvale Hotel Cookstown

December was such a great month for weddings, with some amazing wintery weather, frost and sunshine providing the perfect backdrop!

Driving to Majella's family home in Portglenone was certainly a challenge, having to navigate the windy narrow country lanes with plenty of snow and ice along the way.   The temperature inside the house was a lot warmer though, with plenty of Majella's family and friends rushing around the place getting ready.

I had the opportunity to visit the Crosskeys Inn, Ardnaglass for a quick stop off on the way to the Greenvale Hotel, which allowed us to get some festive shots inside and outside the bar.  I'm looking forward to getting the opportunity to return to the pub to enjoy a beer next time!

This was such a great day for Majella and Ryan, who were both absolute stars. Congratulations to them both.

Katie + Darren - Spring sun in Northern Ireland

I met Katie and Darren over 5 years ago at a mutual friends wedding.  I'll never forget Katie telling me that day that she wanted me to photograph her wedding whenever she got married.  5 years later and it happened!

Katie and Darren moved to Australia a couple of years back, so their wedding had a real family feel, with the service being held at Katie's family church and the reception in the grounds of their local pub.  Only being back from Australia for a short time gave the day such a special feel, with everyone making the most of having the amazing couple back with them.

The sun shone all day for Katie and Darren and after an amazing sunset, the part continued on into the early hours.  What a day.

Congratulations Katie & Darren (miss you guys!) x
