When I turned up at Alana's parents house in Toomebridge, I was welcomed into their home and instantly felt at ease with all the family. I knew this was going to be a special day.
I'd only met Alana and Seamus the week previously, for a quick coffee and chat about their plans for the day. They were both so relaxed about the big day ahead and I couldn't wait to get started.
Working as a wedding photographer takes me to new places all the time and for Alana and Seamus, I travelled to Moneyglass for the first time for their service. I am definitely returning to the village in the near future for a drink at the local bar that the guests headed to after the wedding ceremony - it's the picture perfect Irish country pub.
After Moneyglass, we headed on to the castle gardens in Antirm, where we were greeted by bright sunshine after monsoon conditions during the drive across to Antrim. Then, onto Leihinmohr House Hotel in Ballymena for the reception, somehow missing another epic downpour.
I had such a good day with Alana, Seamus, their family and friends - there was such close feel to the day, even with over 150 guests in attendance. Picking a few of the pictures for this blog was so difficult, I had so many to choose from!
Congratulations Alana and Seamus.
