Braving the weather at Blaise Castle!

This weekend I was booked to take some fun images of Sylvana and her daughter Sophia, but the weather forecast was not looking good at all!  So far, I have been quite lucky when it comes to outdoor shoots and have rarely been in a situation where the weather has ruined a session.  But I was getting worried this weekend with thunderstorms predicted!

I met Sylvana at Blaise castle estate, knowing that there are lots of large trees to take shelter under.  When we arrived, the rain had actually stopped for a ten minutes or so, giving us a chance to get a few shots out in the open, but it didn't last long and we soon had to get the brollies out again.

Still raining!

Sophia loves to play with her tea set on her picnic blanket, so we did just that under a huge tree near the car park, which provided great shelter from the rain.   It was lovely to see them both having lots of fun and we captured some great shots, but I did get absolutely drenched.
